Our August 8 GBCC Coffee Talk was just the mid-morning break that we all needed after a very stormy night.
Thank you to Melissa, Miranda, Jen, and Ryan from SECNY for hosting us, and a special shout out to Member Service Rep Mike who baked delicious coffee cake muffins for us! Ryan also provided us with excellent information about what to do if we fall victim to fraud, and how to safeguard our money.
As always, there were lively conversations, laughs, and new connections made. We enjoyed visiting with John and Brett – Heartland; Nate – WWDot Computers; Denise – St. Mark’s Lutheran Church; Cindy – PAC-B TV; Derry and Helen – Market America; Bridget – Hearing Aid Consultants of CNY; Rebecca - Hampton Inn by Hilton Syracuse/Clay; Sabrina and Jeff – M&T Bank; community member Stephanie; Jennifer – Paige’s Butterfly Run; Matt – Heritage Insurance Agency; and Fay – FLC Home Inspections. (Apologies if we missed anyone – taking notes while balancing a cup of coffee requires a level of coordination that I do not possess.)
