Introducing the recipient of the 2023 Greater Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce scholarship, Alex Evans!

Alex will graduate from Baker High School in Baldwinsville on June 23, and plans to major in accounting at Monroe

Community College, transferring afterwards to University at Buffalo to complete his bachelor’s degree in finance.

The list of accomplishments and activities for Alex is extensive, including playing in marching band for six years, participating in the Interact and chess clubs, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, and earning the New York State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and English.

GBCC board member Melanie Randolph and executive director MaryAnne Williams attended Baker High School's Moving Up Day event on June 7 to award the scholarship to Alex.
