On Tuesday evening, we had the opportunity to finally present our 2021 Business Person of the Year Award to, Renee Upfold-Newton of La Tresse Salon + Spa for her continued support to the Baldwinsville community.

Each year the Greater Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) honors an outstanding GBCC member who exemplifies the following qualities: • Business accomplishments • Integrity • Business, civic or corporate leadership

Renee has owned and operated her salon in Baldwinsville for the last 18 years. Her strong work ethic has allowed her to grow her space from a rented unit to one she owns right on Genesee street. She has high standards for herself and her staff, both in their craft and how they do business. Renee goes above and beyond to support the community and is a even a previous board of director member to the Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce. We couldn’t be more glad to present this award to Renee.
